The Monday Night Wars on cardboard — Warrior RCs, WCW sets, ECW rarities, and the Attitude Era's birth
The 1990s didn't just change professional wrestling — they detonated it. Two giants went to war on Monday nights, a third rose from the underground, and the entire industry erupted onto cardboard with a ferocity nobody saw coming. Classic, Action Packed, Cardz, Merlin, Panini, Topps, Comic Images, Fleer — and dozens of regional, food, and international publishers in between. The sets came fast, they came big, and they came from everywhere.
Documenting every release from this era would be a full-time job. So this page focuses on the main sets — the ones that mattered most to the hobby, carried the biggest names, and are most actively collected today. Regional issues, food sets, and non-mainstream releases will be covered in their own dedicated section below the main checklists.
